San Felipe Mexico scuba diving and snorkeling.

The beautiful beaches of the Sea of Cortez make for excellent swimming and beach activities. All this sand however makes for generally poor snorkeling as there is little to see but sand and the visability is often poor. Much the same for scuba diving except that there are reefs and islands accessible by boat for good diving. These areas tend to be the hot spots for fishing as well so one should be cautious of fishing boats and commercial fishing nets while on dives in the area.

If you plan to dive on a trip to San Felipe bring everything you own gear and all the tanks you need as there is no where to get them filled locally.
